At Ride X Taxi, Inc. (“Ride X Taxi”), we take your privacy and security seriously. This policy explains how we protect personal information we collect from you or that you give us through ridextaxi.com and the Ride X Taxi mobile apps (together, the “Site”). Please read it carefully so you understand how we handle your information.

Ride X Taxi’s Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and only collect, store, and use your personal information for defined purposes that support and improve our relationship with you. We use appropriate measures and processes to help protect your data. You can contact us at any time with privacy or data security questions. You can also ask to see the personal data you have given us that we still hold, and request corrections or deletion.

This Privacy and Data Security Statement (“Privacy Statement”) is part of, and subject to, the Ride X Taxi Terms & Conditions of Use. If you disagree with this Privacy Statement, please do not give us any information or use the Site. By using the Site and voluntarily giving us personally identifiable information, you consent to our collection and use of that information and other information as described here.

This Privacy Statement takes effect September 29, 2026. We reserve the right to change it at any time, and changes take effect when posted. If you continue using the Site after we post changes, that means you accept the revised Privacy Statement. Please check this page often to stay informed about our policies.

How Ride X Taxi Collects Personal Information About You

You can browse the parts of the Site that are not password-protected and do not require registration or login anonymously; we do not collect personally identifiable information during that browsing. At other times, we will ask for specific types of personal information. We may collect personal information when you:

Book a ride, request a quote, or manage a reservation online or in the mobile apps
Create or manage an account
Submit a comment or feedback
Submit a contact or support request
Access the Site through other services, including Facebook or Google

This Privacy Statement covers only information provided and collected through the Site. It does not cover information we or others collect in other ways, including through a business relationship with you. It also does not cover information you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you there or link to them from our Site. For example, anything you post on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social media or networking sites is covered by those sites’ privacy policies, not this one.

What Information Ride X Taxi Collects

Depending on how you use the Site, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, trip dates and times, flight number if you provide it, trip notes, and other non-personally identifiable information needed or helpful for the services you request. We also collect device and app information, such as IP address, device identifiers, operating system, app version, settings, crash logs, and diagnostic data. If you allow location services, our apps collect precise location data only while the app is open and only with your permission, to support address lookup, pickup, routing, and safety features.

Our payment processor, Stripe, handles payment card details. We do not store full card numbers or security codes on our systems. We may store a token, card type, and the last four digits returned by Stripe to handle payments and receipts.

We may send phone verification codes, booking confirmations, and ride updates by SMS through our provider, Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of non-essential SMS communications.

You choose whether to give us personally identifiable information. If you do not provide requested information, though, you may be unable to use certain parts of the Site.

While you browse the Site, we automatically log your IP address, which is a number assigned to your device when you use the Internet, and your activity on the Site. We may also use cookies to personalize and improve your experience. Cookies are small strings of text sent by the Site to your browser and stored on your device. They help us diagnose server problems, administer the Site, gather broad demographic information, and recognize you on return visits. For example, they can keep you from having to log in again. They also help us determine whether you arrived through a particular Internet link or advertisement, or from an unknown device. A code in a cookie file can let the Site identify you as a particular user, including by name, address, or other personally identifiable information. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change your browser settings to reject them. Rejecting cookies may keep you from using certain parts of the Site.

Google Marketing Platform Disclosure

We use cookies and similar technologies to advertise and remarket our service to people who have visited the Site, and to measure how our campaigns perform. Third-party vendors, including Google, help us show ads on sites you visit across the web and identify the type of device you use. We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads for measurement and performance.

The data collected is anonymous, but you can opt out of receiving cookies through the NAI Website or through your device settings.

Tracking

We do not collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services. For that reason, we do not currently process or comply with browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that let consumers choose whether that information is collected over time and across third-party websites.

Our mobile apps may use your precise device location only while the app is open and only if you allow location services. This supports address lookup, pickup, routing, and safety features. Most mobile devices let you turn off location services in the device’s settings menu.

Some U.S. mobile network providers (“Mobile Provider”) are required to use technology that tracks the physical location of devices using their service. Depending on your Mobile Provider and device, we may automatically receive network-based location information and related data that may be considered personally identifiable information. If you need help turning off location services, you should contact your Mobile Provider or device manufacturer.

How Ride X Taxi Uses Your Personal Information

We keep the personal information you provide confidential, unless you submit a compliment or feedback intended for public display. We collect and process it for these general purposes:

To process ride bookings and quotes, dispatch through our dispatch system (iCabbi), and provide transportation through independently owned and operated taxis dispatched by Ride X Taxi
To process payments securely through Stripe
To send phone verification codes, booking confirmations, and ride updates by SMS through Twilio (message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out)
To process your request to receive emails
To answer requests for information about our services
To contact you about your use of the Site
To share your compliments and feedback with other visitors
To share service and company news and offerings with you
To research the Site’s effectiveness and support our business planning, marketing, advertising, and sales efforts. With your opt-in consent, we may also use and store location information for location-based services, including location-targeted advertising

We may combine and add to the personal information we receive using information from third parties, as long as we use the combined information as described in this Privacy Statement. We may also use personal information to create non-personal information, such as demographic information that helps us understand our users’ general characteristics. When we do, we will take reasonable measures to make sure the information is no longer personally identifiable and cannot later be used to identify you.

You decide whether to give us personal information. If you are not comfortable with the access and uses described here, you should not provide it and should disable any technology that automatically provides it to us. That may limit the information and services we can provide through the Site, but the choice is yours.

Newsletters, Mailing Lists, Requests for Information

We, a Ride X Taxi affiliated entity, or an agent working on our behalf will send you information about our services or other products and services that may interest you. This may include upgrade alerts, special offers, updated information, and new Ride X Taxi services. Only Ride X Taxi or agents working on our behalf will send these direct mailings. When Ride X Taxi Will Share Your Personal Information

We may share information with third parties in the following circumstances:

We may share your information, including personal information, so we or others can send periodic mailings or contact you about products, services, or events. If you do not want us to share your information this way, please let us know at reservations@ridextaxi.com.

We may hire companies and people to do work on our behalf and share personal information they need to provide services to you. Examples include our dispatch platform (iCabbi), your driver, payment processing (Stripe), SMS delivery (Twilio), address lookup and mapping (Google Maps), analytics and advertising measurement (Google), email distribution, data management, customer support, and cloud hosting. Unless we tell you otherwise, they have no right to use your personal information beyond what they need to assist us.

We share booking details with our dispatch system (iCabbi) and your driver only as needed to carry out your ride.

We may share information, including personal information, with our corporate affiliates for our legitimate business purposes and theirs.

We will share personal information with third parties for other purposes unless you expressly withdraw your consent by sending an opt-out request. We may disclose non-personal, aggregate, anonymous data in a de-identified format for any legitimate business purpose.

We may disclose personal information at the request of law enforcement or government agencies, or in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. This may be to establish, protect, or exercise our legal or other rights, defend against a legal claim, or as otherwise required or allowed by law.

We may disclose personal information if we believe it is appropriate to (a) protect the rights, property, or safety of a Site user or anyone else, (b) investigate or prevent your violation of a contractual or other relationship with us, (c) investigate or prevent your actual or potential illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity, or (d) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.

We may share information, including personal information, in connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company. This may happen during negotiations or as part of closing the transaction.

We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information collected about you through the Site to anyone for any purpose, except as disclosed.

Your Rights

If you ask, we will tell you within 40 days what personal information we hold about you. Upon written request, we will also correct, delete, and/or block further use of personal information within a reasonable time if it proves factually inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant to the purpose for which it is used.

Correcting, Updating, Accessing, or Removing Personal Information

If you want to correct, update, or remove personal information you have given us, or stop receiving information from us, you can contact reservations@ridextaxi.com. In some cases, we may be unable to remove information completely. For example, we may need it to prevent fraud or future abuse, the law may require us to keep it, or it may remain in backups or cached or archived pages. Any personal information we keep will remain subject to the Privacy Statement you previously agreed to.

Regardless of your email preferences, we may still need to contact you as required by law or to complete any open inquiries.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may request certain information under California law about our disclosure of their personal information to third parties for those parties’ direct marketing. This includes (a) a list of certain categories of personal information disclosed to certain third parties for direct marketing during the immediately preceding calendar year; (b) the identity of certain third parties that received personal information for direct marketing during that year; and (c) examples of the products or services marketed, if we have that information. Third-Party Sites

Other websites may collect personally identifiable information about you, including websites you reach through links on our Site. This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices of third-party websites linked to www.ridextaxi.com, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Children

To comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R. §§ 312.1-312.12, the Site does not allow children under 13 to become users, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

Business Transfer

Ride X Taxi may sell or otherwise transfer some or all of its assets to a third party in the future. Personally identifiable information and/or technical information we obtain from you through the Site may be disclosed to potential or actual buyers and/or included among the transferred assets.

Data Security – Protecting Your Personally Identifiable Information

We take steps to protect the information you give us from unauthorized disclosure. If you are a registered Site user, you should keep your password to yourself. If you suspect unauthorized access to your information, you are responsible for contacting us immediately. Ride X Taxi personnel will never ask for your password in written or electronic communications, though they may ask registered users security questions to verify their identity. Internet data transmission is not always secure, and we cannot guarantee that information you send through the Site is secure. We will always make reasonable efforts to protect our systems because security matters to you and to us.

Users From Outside the United States

The Site is intended for a United States audience, hosted in the United States, and governed by United States law. If you use it from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and central database are located. Data protection and other laws in the United States and other countries may not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to transferring your information to our facilities and the facilities of third parties we share it with as described in this Privacy Statement.
